ECLIPSE 100 is a fully implicit black oil reservoir simulator with a widerange of modeling facilities. Robust numerical techniques and fineconvergence controls ensure the reliable and accurate solution of full 3-D field scale studies, with minimal material balance errors. Free-formatdata input and exhaustive data checks make ECLIPSE 100 easy to use.Runtime dimensioning removes restrictions on the number of cells, wells,and tables, etc. giving users complete flexibility in defining oraltering simulation parameters.Both standard block centre and corner point Cartesian geometry can beused. The corner point geometry option permits a faithful representationof reservoir geometry and the accurate calculation of flow across slopingfaults. 3-D radial geometry is also available for coning studies. Thisoption "completes the circle" allowing flow across the 0/360-degreeinterface.Recent developments include disking options, vectorization, and N-levelcontrol of producers and injectors.
